QA Analyst

The QA Analyst is responsible for identifying and communicating defects and risks discovered during the testing of Primal Fusion's platform and applications. You are a dedicated professional in every sense of the word. Your ability to think abstractly and creatively helps you to clearly articulate test results to development and program management team members. You are a confident communicator and fully understand the stringent quality requirements for producing complex applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the architecture, design, documentation, and maintenance of test plans and strategies.
• Quantify and communicate testing risks, priorities, activities, progress, and barriers.
• Work as a member of an integrated agile development team.
• Participate with pre-release and release strategies and processes including final testing and documentation preparation.
• Provide support to internal and external stakeholders and customers as required.
• Participate in the assessment, support, and continual improvement of our testing activities, processes, effectiveness, and tools.

Requirements

• Experience with QA methodologies supporting agile development, such as Scrum.
• Experience with software testing strategies and methods, including a strong emphasis on white-box testing, is a must. Experience with exploratory testing, session-based testing, or risk-based testing methods is a definite asset.
• Web-based and rich Internet application testing experience, especially in areas of usability, security, and performance on Windows and Linux platforms, is a must.
• Experience with the .NET Framework, C#, Perl, and related technologies.
• Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools, standards, test techniques, and software development models.
• Positive attitude and a results-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience or training.
