Here's a terrific opportunity to lead the development of Ajax web applications, as a key member of our small applications development group.

Description

As a Web Developer at Primal Fusion, you will:

• Write a lot of code!
• Work closely with our expert designers and our back-end platform team to build applications that delight our customers while fulfilling our business goals.
• Lay the groundwork for new product development by helping choose technologies, by designing application frameworks upon which all code is developed, and by introducing agile best practices such as test-driven development.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Develop a deep understanding of Primal Fusion's core platform.
• Participate in the design process for new applications, particularly by rapidly coding prototypes for evaluation.

Requirements

• A passion for developing high-quality code.
• A desire to continuously learn and improve your skills.
• Demonstrated experience in building Ajax web applications in a maintainable manner.
• Experience implementing TDD in web applications.
• Strong CSS+XHTML and JavaScript skills.
• Strong Ajax development experience with a framework such as Ruby On Rails, GWT, etc.
• A deep knowledge of development including web applications, databases, threading, etc.

Bonus points for any of the following:

• Experience in designing for large-scale consumer web applications.
• User interface and visual design skills.
